Choose your Update Admission Query view

Choose New or Old for Update Admission Query while keeping the same page and controls.

Admission inquiry follow-ups and discussed fees

Open Admissions → Admission Queries → New Layout. Today’s Follow-up, Due Follow-up and Upcoming Follow-up filter by the latest saved next contact date. Due means before today; upcoming means after today. Follow-up Date filters a particular date. Clear the selections to return to all inquiries.

Choose Add Follow-up on a student’s row. Select Call Status and Admission Status, enter Remarks and the Next Follow-up Date, then Save Follow-up. Leave the date blank when no more contact is planned. Each save appends history and replaces the pending schedule; it never sends a message. View history retains earlier conversations even after admission is confirmed and a Temporary SID becomes permanent. The enrolled student’s Manage Students → Update screen also shows Admission follow-up history.

On Add Query → New Layout → Office Information, choose a Fee Plan and expand Add Discussed Student Fee. Review each particular’s Actual Amount and enter the Decided Amount. Save the query. Update and admission confirmation let you review or change this agreement; changing campus or fee plan requires reviewing its particulars again. The discussion remains after confirmation. It does not create billed fees, challans or payments automatically: use the existing Admissions → Manage Fee Plans workflow under its normal privileges for actual billing.

Open Update Admission Query

Open Admission Queries and use the existing update action on the query you want to change. Existing access permissions remain unchanged.

Choose your layout

Classic opens first unless you save another default. Use Try the new layout or View old layout to switch. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. If saving a default fails, your previous choice remains; try saving again. Switching keeps the same page and its current choices.

Keep the original controls

The same student fields, family choices, validation and save controls remain. Switching layouts does not save changes or send a message. Existing read and failure behavior remains.

Choose the admission form print layout

In Admissions → Manage Students or Admission Queries, select exactly one student or query. Print Layout 2 is the main print control. For the other layout, open More → Print Layout 1; if More is not shown, expand the page's Advanced settings. The two names still open their corresponding layouts.

The printed form shows Created At, Created By, Updated At and Updated By together in a compact row. Dates and times use the usual school display with hours and minutes. On a narrow screen these fields can wrap; print keeps the four fields together.

Enter phone and WhatsApp numbers

When typing or pasting into a phone or WhatsApp field, spaces, letters and symbols are removed and the digits are kept. A starting zero stays in place. Check the resulting digits before saving. Opening an existing record does not rewrite its saved contact values; a field is cleaned when you edit it. The existing Save controls and messaging choices still apply.

Temporary query numbers and confirmed admission

New records saved in Admissions → Admission Queries receive a Temporary SID, such as TMP-1 or TMP-2. A query does not use a permanent student SID or an automatic roll number before admission is confirmed. Confirm admission before creating a fee plan, generating challans or recording payments for a new Temporary SID.

When its status becomes Currently Enrolled, it receives the next permanent SID from the same sequence used by Manage Students, and the usual automatic roll-number rules apply. Confirming admission keeps the saved student and family details; those details remain available in the record and printed form. Existing admission queries that already have a permanent SID keep that SID.
