Preview and edit a card or certificate
Open Admissions → Student Card and Certificates → Print Cards & Certificates in the New Layout and choose a campus. Each named template has Preview. With students selected, use Previous student and Next student to review the selection. Without a selection, Preview uses the first student in the loaded grid, or clearly marked sample data when no student is loaded.
Preview uses the print renderer without issuing a certificate or creating a Certificate Logs entry. Reference numbers remain provisional until printing. Use Edit to open that exact campus template in the existing certificate editor. Update its header, body or footer using the listed merge fields, then save and return to this screen to review and print the saved template. The template is unchanged until an edit is saved. Edit is shown only to users with certificate update permission; the school owner retains access. Existing leaving-certificate status and fee checks still apply when printing.
Choose a named campus template
Choose the campus first. Its available cards and certificates appear as clearly named choices. Pick a template, select students and use Print Selected Document. Use the same page for Certificate Logs and Student QR Code. Date Sheets have their separate examination screen. View classic layout remains available.
Open Student Extras
Open Admissions, then Student Card and Certificates. Keep the same selection before using the existing print controls. Existing access permissions remain unchanged.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Use Try the new layout or View old layout to switch. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. If saving a default fails, your previous choice remains; try saving again. Switching keeps the same page and its current choices.
Keep the original controls
The same student choices and existing document and date sheet print controls remain. Switching layouts does not select students or print anything. Existing loading and error behavior remains.
